Bas (aka Sebastian, or as Anise calls him, Bastian) just reached the four-month mark on March 30. It’s hard to believe that he has been with us for so long now. It seems not too long ago he was in the emergency unit for newborns. He is doing great now, smiling more and talking (especially when his loquacious sister is asleep). This morning, he got tired of waiting for me to come and hold him and just rocked himself to sleep in his rocker. I was feeding Anise and watched him give up quietly in despair, throw his arms in the air and close his eyes. His favorite pastime is watching his sister and her numerous antics, including singing and dancing. She is now singing around 20 nursery rhymes, although she doesn’t know the words to all of them. Anise loves to pour tea for everyone and sits her dolls down for a proper meal every afternoon. She seems to like ignoring the toy trucks I’ve bought her so there must be something in the genes or the water that makes her so girly. I am sure she will be subjecting Baby Bas (who has a total Buddha belly so I have to buy overalls to accommodate) to her tea parties. Hee hee.
It’s April now and I have to go to work full-time on Monday. I have loved working part-time and being able to spend more time with the kids. But all good things must come to an end and although I am not looking forward to getting up early when I’ve had a long night with Bas, going back to work will be okay too. Here are some pics of our growing weeds.

Too cute!! I love it.
Thanks for sharing.
